Travel Study Expenses

Tuition does cover a portion of local field trips throughout the school year, but it does not include Travel Study for Voyagers Week or Spring Class Trip costs for the Upper Elementary and Middle School grades (4-8).

VOYAGERS WEEK - Students in Upper Elementary and Middle School participate in a multi-age Voyagers Week trip in early spring. These trips range in price from $300 to $2,300 (Upper Elementary trip options are on the lower end of that range). Families can choose an option that both interests the child and works for them financially.

CLASS TRIPS - All students in grades 4 through 8 participate in annual class trips each May. Travel scholarships are available to families wishing to apply and who qualify for financial assistance. The following cost estimates are based on an average from the past 2 years:

4th & 5th Grade           $200-$300
6th Grade $400-$600
7th Grade $500-$800
8th Grade $1,500-$2,000

Travel Study is an integral part of Harbor School's Upper Elementary and Middle School curriculum. Each year the trip menu varies, as do the actual trip costs.
