Kate Davidson, K-3 at Carpe Diem

Kate Davidson

K-3 TEACHER at CARPE DIEM

Kate grew up in Maine, leaving to attend the University of Puget Sound and complete her BA in Politics and Government.  After working in labor law and for the ACLU, she returned to school to earn a Masters in Teaching degree from Seattle University. She started her teaching career working with wee ones in London before moving to Palo Alto, California where she taught kindergarten.

Kate also taught 4th grade in Los Altos, WA at the lovely Santa Rita School.  She later moved to Carmel Valley, California to live with her Vashon born and raised husband, Ben Davidson, and work for National Geographic School Publishing. It wasn’t long before they bought a home and moved to Vashon Island where Kate taught kindergarten at Chautauqua before taking time off to be with her new daughter. Kate is happy to call Vashon Island home with her husband Ben, daughter Addie, dog Flash, and cat Marble.
